Morinaga Tabisuru Hi-Chew Assort Candy
In 1975 Morinaga introduced a new fruit flavored candy called Hi-Chew, which have since become a cultural icon in Japan. Their goal was to create an irresistible candy which at first and feels and tastes like chewing gum, but becomes softer and softer after chewing. Morinaga has been selling seasonal and regional Hi-Chew flavors and certain flavors can only be bought in the region in which they are famous. This assorted regional set includes four selected flavors from different regions: Cherry from the Touhoku area, Yubari-melon from Hokkaido, Shekwasha citrus from Okinawa and Banana from Hawaii! This treat is a special edition and it was only manufactured in Japan from 19th of February until the end of April 2014. Let's go for a flavor journey with Morinaga!
