The front and back are covered in plastic that is not crinkley and have a nice tight fit. The design is adorable on both the inside and outside! On the middle of every page theres a more prominent line however, that is still okay for me. Because at least the size is not like a lot of the books here which only fit your palms. It also has a good amount of pages. ( My book came a bit crinkled on the side as did with one of my candies, but it is alright , i understand shipping damages may occur) I wished I spent for another one!
