WHO MADE RE-MENT?

Who made Re-Ment

These miniatures are created by the company of the same name, a Japanese manufacturer of candy toys and miscellaneous goods. Re-Ment started in 1998 with cellphone straps and trading figures, and now, the company has released over 300 Re-Ment collections! These include the original brand Petit Sample Series and other collaborations with well-known brands and characters.

WHAT DOES RE-MENT STAND FOR?

Re-Ment meaning

So, what does "Re-Ment" mean? Well, the name is derived from the phrase, “reform the entertainment,” a term that represents the brand’s goal to make a change in the toy world. To keep the name's meaning, they use the direct translation in Japan which is “Rīmento.”

HOW DOES RE-MENT WORK?

Each time Re-Ment creates super cute and tiny miniatures and figures, the company makes sure to pay attention to detail! This is what makes Re-Ment special. You get to appreciate life in small things with these realistic mini replicas.

How does Re-Ment work

WHAT SCALE IS RE-MENT?

Re-Ment scale

For miniature collectors and diorama enthusiasts, scale is everything. It's what gives these tiny pieces their realism and detail. Re-Ment scale can vary depending on the collection, but most are crafted in 1:6 and 1:12 scales.

What scale is Re-Ment

What does this mean? Well, a 1:6 scale Re-Ment will be one-sixth the size of a real object, making them perfect for dolls like Barbie. Meanwhile, the 1:12 scale pieces are one-twelfth the size of the real deal, which makes them perfect for smaller dolls and dollhouses like Sylvanian Families.

RE-MENT PUCHI SAMPLE SERIES

Re-Ment Puchi Sample Series

Re-Ment's Puchi Sample Series is a super cool collection of miniatures featuring tiny versions of food samples and household items. These replicas with realistic details started gaining fame with the release of its Japanese Meal set in 2002. The word "puchi" means "mini" in Japanese, and these collectibles are perfect for dioramas, dollhouses, or to use with action figures like Blythe or Barbie. Originally, each Puchi Sample Series had individually boxed sets, often containing 5 to 12 miniatures. It’s also usually packaged with a tiny gum so it can be sold in more places like the supermarket.
